Join us as a member:
The criteria for membership are below.
Full Membership:
- Obtained a minimum of 40 didactic training hours specific to DBT (obtained through Continuing Education hours, Workshops, Seminars, Didactic training hours, etc);
- Currently engages in DBT work or has been involved in DBT work, or has demonstrated experience in DBT which meets the Boards’ satisfaction;
- Possesses recognised tertiary qualifications in the disciplines of psychology, medicine, education, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, physiotherapy, speech therapy, dentistry or nursing; and
- Lives and/or works in the Asia Pacific region.
Associate Membership:
- Currently engages in DBT work or has been involved in DBT work which meets the Board satisfaction; and
- Lives and/or works in the Asia Pacific region.
An Associate Member may, upon meeting the relevant criteria, apply to become a Full Member.
Membership fees and joining
Membership fees are for a two year period. They are determind by your location according to World Bank income definition. See the membership form for details.
Full Member (2 year period):
- High income countries: AU$75
- Low-Medium Income Countries: AU$50
Associate Member (2 year period):
- High income countries: AU$55
- Low-Medium Income Countries: AU$35
