2. Join APAC-DBT as a full or associate member:

Please review the membership criteria and confirm that you meet the requirements. There are more details on the membership criteria here.

Full Membership criteria:

Completed at least 40 didactic training hours specific to DBT
Currently engages in DBT work / demonstrated significant experience in DBT
Hold recognised tertiary qualifications in disciplines of psychology, medicine, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, speech therapy (or equivalent)
Lives or works in the Asia Pacific region.

Associate Membership criteria:

Currently engaged in DBT work or has been involved in DBT work which meets the boards satisfaction (includes peer counselors / lived experience workers).
Lives or works in the Asia Pacific region.

Fees are for a two-year membership period. They are shown in Australia dollars for high income / low income countries. Membership applications will be pending and reviewed by the membership committee. We will respond to you once your membership application is approved. If you do not meet membership criteria, your membership fee will refunded minus any processing charges required.
